34 Argyle Street St. Andrews

Number 34 Argyl Street is a beautifully restored stone country house near the St Andrew’s Golf Course in Fife, Scotland. The bed and breakfast centre is family-owned and run and is situated parallel to the west side of the world famous golf course.

There are four rooms, each of which is named after some part of the St. Andrew’s Golf Club. Each bedroom contains king size double beds, a television, a large en suite bathroom and incredible views of the countryside.

The interior of the house is modern, but with a soft and homely feeling to it. This charming bed and breakfast also offers free wi-fi to those who cannot stand to be away from the online world. The property also has a sheltered and secluded garden which can be enjoyed when the weather is fair. It features a large sun lounge where guests can sit and relax with a book, play board games or enjoy a pot of tea and a chat with the family.

Breakfast can take on a Scottish twist with local staples, or guests can opt for a traditional English or a continental. The property is not far from St. Andrew’s village centre and you can easily walk there to take in the sights, do some shopping for souvenirs or enjoy a dram of whisky at one of the local pubs.

St. Andrew’s also has a castle, a cathedral and Botanical Gardens which are all well worth paying a visit to. There is plenty to see and do in terms of getting out and about in nature, such as the Fife Coastal Track, but of course the draw of this property is the fact that it is a stone’s throw from St Andrew’s, so you might want to think about taking your golf clubs and caddie.
